Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, I am no stranger to the rain! I have thought for YEARS....why are there no lights on umbrellas? It's fall / winter, it's raining and dark at 4pm. Everyone is wearing dark colours and the number of times pedestrians were getting hit was heartbreaking. Would a little light help this issue?  I moved to the beautiful East Coast and noticed the same problem.  Dark, raining, no lights....

 

The boredom and depression, (courtesy of COVID) that I experienced forced me into finally taking action on the vision I have had for years. A blessing in disguise, Umbrella Queen was born! I absolutely LOVE these products! They are fun and cheerful! I am a woman owned small business. I am passionate about combining fashion with safety! I feel good about people being visible to drivers on their walk home from work or school. If I can make just one person visible crossing the street that was not before....I have achieved my goal!
